What is GenuineBuy?
GenuineBuy is a product-sourcing platform designed to help you access authentic, high-quality products in a market filled with counterfeits. We do not keep stock. Instead, we source each product specifically for you after your order is placed. We work with trusted suppliers, verify the authenticity and quality of every item, and ensure safe delivery to your location. Our process reduces the risk of counterfeit goods and gives you confidence in every purchase.
Do you keep products in stock?
No. We only source products once an order is placed. This allows us to verify the authenticity and condition of each product before it reaches you, instead of relying on pre-held inventory.
Why do I have to pay before sourcing?
We begin sourcing your product immediately after receiving your payment. Upfront payment helps us avoid unserious orders and ensures the process of sourcing, verifying, and delivering your product starts without delay. It also protects both parties by reducing the risk of fraud or cancellations after sourcing has begun.
Is the delivery fee included in the product price?
No. Delivery fees are separate from the product cost. For light items like gadgets or clothes, delivery within Harare is $2, while delivery outside Harare is $5. For heavy items, delivery will be arranged directly between both parties. All fees are clearly displayed at checkout.
Where do you get your products from?
We work exclusively with vetted and trusted suppliers who have a proven record of delivering genuine products. We never source from unverified or risky vendors.
How do you verify authenticity?
We check product packaging, serial numbers, supplier records, and overall product quality. If there are any signs of inconsistency or doubt, the product is rejected and will not be delivered.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery typically takes between 1–7 days depending on the product type, availability, and your location. Some specialized or high-demand products may take slightly longer.
Do you deliver across Zimbabwe?
Yes. We deliver nationwide using our internal delivery system and reliable logistics partners to ensure your order arrives safely and on time.
Can I return a product?
Yes. You may return a product if it arrives damaged, inauthentic, or different from what you ordered. Please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy for complete guidelines on how to initiate a return.
What if I can’t find a product?
You can contact us through our message box or contact form with details of what you’re looking for. We’ll do our best to source it from our network of suppliers and get back to you with availability and pricing.
